Organ Concert Series To Return

First Reformed Church, 40 E. Orange St., Lancaster, will bring back its "Organic Reflections" concert series beginning on First Friday, Sept. 3. Larry Hershey will play on the vintage 1958 analog Allen organ. The series took a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The program, titled "Resounding Joy," will include exuberant music composed by J.S. Bach, G. Boehm, A. Hollins, V. Hoyle and J. Lemmens. "Carillon de Westminster" by Louis Vierne will conclude the event.

The concert is part of the First Friday series at First Reformed Church, a center-city congregation of the United Church of Christ. Concerts are 30 minutes in length and begin at 8 p.m. each First Friday. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
