Broadcast Of Patriot Day Concert Set

On Sept. 11, 2002, the community gathered for the first Patriot Day Concert hosted by the Lebanon Valley Chamber and performed by the Lebanon Community Concert Band. The purpose was to unite the community, honor first responders, and remember the patriotism that brought the nation together to recover from the 9/11 tragedy the previous year.

This year would have marked the 20th Patriot Day Concert; however, due to a number of COVID-related barriers, a live concert will not be held. Instead, there will be a broadcast of "best of" music recorded during previous Patriot Day Concerts, including patriotic music and vocal performances. The band is directed by Timothy Erdman.

The public is invited to listen to the concert on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on WiLBuR 1270. It may also be streamed at http://player.listenlive.co/65221. An audio recording of the concert will be available online after Sept. 11, as well.
