Penn Manor Libraries Receive Funding

Penn Manor School District recently received a $3,500 check from Tanger Outlets. The funds will go toward new books at school libraries throughout the district.

Monica Trego, Tanger marketing director, presented the check to Martic Elementary School librarian Lori Paules on Sept. 24. Penn Manor applied for the grant earlier this year to help replenish library books that were misplaced or lost during the pandemic.

The grant was made through the TangerKIDS Grants program, which provides almost $200,000 in funding for special projects, programs and equipment in schools located in the communities served by Tanger stores.
