Harvest Festival Planned In Conestoga

The first-ever Conestoga Harvest Festival will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ehrlich Park, 51 Kendig Road, Conestoga.

The event will include craft vendors, food vendors, and a pie-making competition. Games and activities will be available for children, and attendees can watch a real blacksmith in action and see a Conestoga wagon.

The purpose of the event is to bring awareness to the Conestoga Area Historical Society and the events it sponsors in the community.

Vendors of all sorts are sought. Vendor exhibits should be family-friendly. There is limited availability inside on a first-come, first-served basis. All other vendors will be outside. Each indoor space will be large enough for one table and two chairs; outdoor spaces will be large enough for a pop-up tent. Vendors must provide their own table, chairs and tents. Vendors are asked to provide a door prize. Separate fees have been set for one days and for two days.

Anyone interested in becoming a vendor, volunteering or taking part in the pie competition may contact Kayla at kfrey0710@gmail.com.
