Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass will perform a benefit concert at Waterway Church, 550 Waterway Road, Oxford, on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m. Danny has been IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year three times and is well-known by bluegrass fans locally and nationally.

All proceeds will go to The Oaks Ministry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides Christian-based transitional housing for women in need along with a structured program that includes financial guidance, professional counseling, and one-on-one mentoring.

The lobby will open at 6 p.m., and light refreshments will be available. Attendees may also register for door prizes. The doors to the auditorium will open at 6:45 p.m., and there will be no reserved seats.
