Kreutz Creek Library Posts Events

Kreutz Creek Library, 66 Walnut Springs Road, York, will offer a variety of activities to the community. All programs are virtual and require registration, unless noted otherwise. For details and registration, call 717-252-4080 or visit http://www.yorklibraries.org.

The library continues with lobby pickup only for items that patrons borrow. Lobby pickup hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays and from 2 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays.

The Friends of KCL will host a fall online auction on Facebook on Saturday, Nov. 6, at 8 a.m. through Saturday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m. Items can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/KCLAuction2021. Themed baskets, handmade items, gift certificates, and more will be available.

A virtual Sensory Story Time for children ages 2 to 5 will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 4 to 18. Space is limited.

Monthly Grab & Go Craft Activities will be available for children ages 3 to 8. Patrons may stop by the library to pick up supplies for a fun-filled craft.

A virtual 2021 GOAL Celebration will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13. Families, friends, and teachers are all invited to join others on Zoom to celebrate all the Grade One at the Library (GOAL) participants in 2021.

Leap Into Science, Engineered by the Franklin Institute will be offered to children ages 6 to 12 on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 to 11 a.m. The program, Measuring Up (and Down): Cooking Quantities, will take place at the Lehr Park Pavilion adjacent to Dover Area Community Library.

Virtual Tween Programs for youths ages 9 to 12 will be offered from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. On Nov. 9, The Danger Club will meet for magic and mayhem. The Library Squad will meet on Nov. 23 to discuss library programming for tweens.

Kreutz Creek Library's TechTime by Phone will be available from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18. To receive technology assistance, call 717-846-5300, ask for the tech specialist, and receive help learning about a new device, fixing problems, protecting a device, downloading books, and more.

Mystery at the Library, a virtual author event, will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1. The November and December featured book is "The Vanished Days" by Susanna Kearsley.

The Friends of Kreutz Creek Library Branch Support Group meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23. Any interested individual is welcome to become a member.
