When Leslie Church organized the first Holiday Home Market in 2019, she wasn't quite sure what to expect.

"I had never done anything like this before," she noted. "I really had no clue how to get started, but I gathered 13 vendors, and even though we didn't have a whole lot of traffic through that day, it still went well."

Encouraged, Church is organizing another Holiday Home Market this year. The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Teen Central, 15 S. Wolf St., Manheim.

"We have 22 vendors this year, everything from direct sales to homemade goodies," she said. "We have clothing, crafters, bakers, handmade hairbows, earrings, Christmas cards, succulents and a lot more."

The Sink will be featuring a full menu, including French toast casserole, chicken cordon bleu pasta bowls, Thanksgiving turkey burgers, curried chicken salad and white chicken chili.

"We're going to have a coffee bar set up," Church stated, adding that hot chocolate bombs will also be for sale.

Church, who sells Scentsy products, said she originally planned to hold the second market in the spring of 2020, but the pandemic delayed her plans.

"After the first show, I asked for feedback from vendors, and this time, I'm more organized and we have lots more to offer," she remarked. "I really tried to get vendors that will provide items for everybody on your list - men, women, children, teachers, bus drivers, everybody you'd want to give a gift to. I want this to be a one-stop shop for your holiday gifts, while also supporting local small business owners."

The event also benefits Teen Central, which provides Christian-focused programs for youths. "We are giving a donation to Teen Central for letting us use the space, and several vendors will be donating a portion of their proceeds to Teen Central as well," Church noted.
