4-H Clubs Begin Plans For 2022

York County 4-H clubs are gearing up to begin activities in 2022. Club members range from ages 8 to 18, unless noted otherwise. Reorganizational and regularly scheduled meetings will be held at the York County 4-H Center, 771 Stoverstown Road, York, at 7 p.m. unless stated otherwise.

The York County 4-H Swine Club is open to members ages 5 to 18 and focuses on learning about the care, management, and marketing of swine. This club meets on the first Thursday of each month. To learn more, contact leaders Jon Neutzel at 717-968-2735 or Tracy Neutzel at 717-968-4086.

The York County 4-H Beef Club focuses on learning about the care, management, and marketing of beef animals. This club meets on the first Monday of each month. For more information, contact the office of Penn State Extension in York County at 717-840-7408 or yorkext@psu.edu.

The York County 4-H Dairy Club focuses on learning about raising and managing dairy cattle. This club will hold its reorganizational meeting on Monday, Dec. 13, at the 4-H center. Attendees are asked to bring cookies to share. Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of each month and vary in location.
