Hummelstown Holiday Happenings will be celebrated on Sunday, Dec. 5. Sponsored by the Hummelstown Business and Professional Association, the annual holiday event will run from 1 to 5 p.m.

The event will kick off with the arrival of Santa Claus by firetruck to Hummelstown's square at 1 p.m. He will be available to visit with children until 5 p.m.

Local businesses will sponsor open houses and activities for people of all ages, including opportunities to make ornaments and crafts and decorate cookies. There will also be refreshments, dance performances, and shopping specials. The Hershey Trolley Works will transport attendees to the activities from 2 to 4 p.m.

The event will conclude with the annual Christmas tree lighting in the square at 5:30 p.m., sponsored by the Hummelstown Community Foundation. Santa Claus and Miss Hummelstown 2022 Nicole McCloskey will light the tree. The Hummelstown Community Singers will lead caroling.
