Siblings Named As Students Of The Month

Riley Wissler and Molly Wissler, seniors at Lampeter-Strasburg High School, have been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club's Students of the Month for November. They were presented to the club by Dr. Ben Feeney, principal of Lampeter-Strasburg High School. Students of the Month are selected on the basis of academic excellence as well as school and community service.

Riley and Molly are the children of Damian and Tessa Wissler of Lancaster.

Riley has earned distinguished honor roll recognition and is a member of the National Honor Society, where he serves as co-president. As a junior, he was a Burrowes Scholar in science. Riley is president of the Model UN Club and is a member of the STEM and Ski and Snowboard clubs. He is co-captain of the cross-country team and is a member of the track and indoor track teams.

Following graduation, Riley plans to attend college to study biochemistry. His goal is to improve medicine by researching cures and treatments for diseases.

Molly has earned distinguished honor roll recognition and is a member of the National Honor Society. She serves as the senior class treasurer and is co-president of the Interact Club. Molly is a member of the Inter-Club Council and the Ski and Snowboard Club. She serves as co-captain of the cross-country and track teams and is a member of the indoor track team.

Following graduation, Molly plans to attend college to study accounting and business analytics. Molly's goal is to make an impact on her community as a future female business leader.
