"The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes" in New York City's Radio City Music Hall is a well-known show celebrating the holiday season. On Nov. 20, the first performers on stage during the 5 p.m. show were 16 students from the a cappella vocal group Beyond Unison from Bucknell University, Lewisburg. Caiden Covell of Hummelstown, bass, is a member of the group that performed. Covell is a member of the Class of 2025.

The Bucknell group was chosen to perform in the show's "Sounds of Christmas" segment, which gives a chorus the opportunity to present an a cappella performance before the curtain opens on "The Christmas Spectacular." Beyond Unison's student leaders made all of the arrangements, applying last summer and providing the required performance video in order to be accepted.
