Club Honors Nafziger, Arment

The Paradise Rotary Club recognized the Students of the Month for December on Dec. 2. The honorees are juniors Conner Nafziger from Conestoga Valley High School and Sarah Arment from Pequea Valley High School. The students were selected on the basis of significant achievement, good character, and good citizenship.

Conner is the son of Steve and Sue Nafziger of Lancaster. He is the treasurer of the Technology Student Association, a leader for Good News Club, and a member of National Honor Society (NHS) and Link Crew. He participates in the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Mentorship Program.

Sarah is the daughter of Douglas and Jodi Arment of Intercourse. During high school, she was named an All-American cheerleader, and in her sophomore year, she was captain of the cheerleading and basketball teams. Her basketball team placed first in multiple tournaments and was the L-L League runner-up. Sarah has also been a part of the school's district and section championship-winning softball team and, this past season, the section champion girls' soccer team. She is a member of NHS and Chamber Singers, and she previously participated in the school musical. Sarah has been named Learner of the Week for choir, has received a PV Brave award for being a three-sport athlete, and was named the top female athlete in her class. With her competitive cheerleading team, Valley Fusion Elite, she has won multiple first-place awards and competed at well-known venues such as ESPN and the U.S. finals.
