Harrison Brown and Riley Peart, both seniors at Penn Manor High School, have been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club's Students of the Month for December. They were presented to the club by Michael Leichliter, superintendent of the Penn Manor School District. Students of the Month are selected on the basis of academic excellence and school and community service.

Harrison is the son of Dan and Tina Brown of Millersville. He is a member of the track and field and wrestling teams, as well as the Comet Nation Club. He participated in the Mini-THON and was a member of the 2021 homecoming court. Following graduation, Harrison plans to attend a college to study business and sports medicine with the goal of opening his own personal training gym.

Riley is the daughter of Kevin and Megan Peart of Lancaster. She is the senior class president and a member of the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Student Council, Student Ambassadors, and Comet Nation. She plays on the Penn Manor girls' basketball team. Riley participated in the Mini-THON and was a member of the 2021 homecoming court.

In addition to consistently earning honor roll recognition, Riley has received an Achievement Certificate of Excellence in Honors British Literature, Certificates of Achievement in Honors Physics and Foundations of Literacy, Excellence in Advanced Placement Psychology, Excellence in Honors U.S. History II and mathematics, and a Highest Achievement Award in Honors Algebra II. Riley was chosen for the HOBY Community Leadership Workshop and the HOBY State Leadership Seminar. She has also been recognized as a Student of the Month by the Millersville Lions Club.

In the community, Riley has volunteered at the Loft Community Partnership and at Leola Elementary School. She has fostered animals through the Humane League of Lancaster County. Following graduation, Riley plans to attend college to double major in biochemistry and public health.
