Regina McCarter of Birdsboro is working on an Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE) project at Albright College, Reading. A graduate of Mother of Divine Grace School, McCarter is majoring in psychology and public health.

Through ACRE projects, undergraduate students at Albright conduct research or pursue creative endeavors outside of regular semester sessions. Student proposals that are accepted by a faculty review board are rewarded with college stipends. McCarter is working with Justin J. Couchman, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology, on a project titled "Empathy and Moral Judgements About Autism Spectrum Disorder Using Virtual Reality."
