Chatting Group To Discuss Book Bans

The Chatting group will offer a discussion on the topic "Book Bannings Raise Questions of What's Appropriate for Public School Libraries and Classrooms" on Monday, Feb. 21. Chatting takes place every Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.

At the upcoming session, attendees will discuss when censorship is appropriate for children and how adults can teach children to think critically about more difficult issues of life that they will eventually encounter.

Chatting, originally called Lifetree Cafe, is sponsored by several local churches from different denominations as a way to foster positive dialogue in the community.
