Choir To Perform At Market Square Church

Arts on the Square, a series of musical and fine arts events, will sponsor a concert of choral music by the Lebanon Valley College concert choir on Sunday, March 27, at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary of historic Market Square Presbyterian Church, 20 S. Second St., Harrisburg.

The program, titled "Alive and Well," seeks to highlight choral music written by living composers as well as share a message of hope. This theme will be carried throughout the choir's annual spring tour. Among the composers are Catherine Dalton, Sydney Guillaume, and Jen Wagner, a Pennsylvania native and choir director at the Milton Hershey School.

Kyle Zeuch, assistant professor of music and director of choral activities, directs the 45-voice Lebanon Valley College student choir. Rodney Barnett, organist and choir director of St. John Episcopal Church in York, is the accompanist.

Parking is provided by the church in the adjacent parking garage. Attendees should enter the church from the first level of the garage. The church is fully accessible to people with disabilities.

Admission is free. For more information, contact Tyler Canonico at 717-257-1270 or canonico@marketsquarechurch.org.
