Sarah E Arriaga-Reyes, a local volunteer and mother, was chosen to compete for the title of Mrs. Pennsylvania America from a field of applicants from throughout the area.

She won the title of Mrs. Philadelphia 2022 in part due to her commitment to raising her children with a strong sense of giving back to one's community through volunteerism and fundraising activities. Her Legacy Project involves helping children obtain the resources they will need to succeed.

Arriaga-Reyes is a caseworker with the Department of Human Services, and she is the Lancaster County representative for the SEIU Community Service Committee. She is the founder of Sarah Arriaga Photography. Sarah's husband, Jose Sr., is an employee at Kunzler & Co. They have three children, Destiny-Rose, Mason and Jose Jr. Sarah enjoys meeting new people, exercising, cooking, and doing arts and crafts with her children.

The Mrs. Pennsylvania America Pageant will take place on Sunday, May 8, at the Venice Island Theatre in Manayunk. At the event, Sarah will compete in three categories: personal interview, swimsuit, and evening gown. Contestants for the Mrs. Pennsylvania America Pageant must be married and live in the city or county they represent. The winner will receive a prize package and will go on to compete for the title of Mrs. America at a nationally televised pageant in November in Las Vegas.
