Church Plans Art Exhibition

Hosanna! A Fellowship of Christians, 29 Green Acre Road, Lititz, will host an exhibition titled "A Contemplative Suffering." The self-guided exhibit will be open to the public on Thursday and Friday, April 14 and 15, from noon to 8 p.m. as well as Saturday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to noon. Admission is free.

"A Contemplative Suffering" utilizes art as a platform to engage both God and self through an interactive experience. This Passion Week reflection comprises six stations consisting of original artwork by local artist Daniel Buffenmeyer. The pieces are based on the ancient concept of looking inward in order to balance the outward. The theme of this guided exhibit explores aspects of the depiction of Christ as a suffering servant in Isaiah 53.

Buffenmeyer is a faith-based visual artist who exhibits locally and works from a small studio located in the Lebanon countryside.
