Walton Joins Pequea Township Police

The Pequea Township Police Department (PTPD) recently welcomed its newest full-time patrol officer to the department. Officer Victoria Walton was sworn in by Magisterial District Justice William Benner at the Board of Supervisors' March meeting.

Walton grew up in Lancaster County and is a graduate of Penn Manor High School. She graduated from the HACC Police Academy and is currently enrolled at Penn State University studying criminal justice and psychology. Walton previously worked in law enforcement in York County and is a current EMT and former volunteer firefighter.

The hiring of Walton fills a vacancy left after Officer Megan Davis left PTPD to further her career at another law enforcement agency. Walton began her field training on March 17 and is already enjoying her visits to Pequea Elementary School and meeting residents while conducting foot patrols in the area developments.
