Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two special events. Programs are open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.

A Wonder of Wildflowers Walk will step off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. This easy walk will introduce participants to the early blooming flowers of the park. A fee applies.

A Music on the Porch bluegrass jam will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 1. Attendees are invited to bring a stringed instrument.
