Garden Spot High School recognized its Students of the Month for March at Eastern Lancaster County (ELANCO) School District's April school board meeting. The honorees, who were lauded for their positive attitude, were freshman Lila Albertson, sophomore Emma Kauffman, junior Kolby Stoltzfus, and senior Allison Zimmerman. Garden Spot principal Matthew Sanger presented them to the board.

Lila is the daughter of Steven and Sarah Albertson of Denver. She is taking several honors courses, has maintained honors since middle school and is a member of Student Council, GSPA, the golf and lacrosse teams and the cheerleading squad.

Emma is the daughter of Jason and Heather Kauffman of New Holland. She has taken several honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses and has maintained distinguished honors since middle school. Emma is also a member of the marching band and Tri-M Music Honor Society.

Kolby is the son of Kevin and Dina Stoltzfus of East Earl. He is enrolled in several honors courses and has received honor roll status since seventh grade. Kolby is a member of FFA and plays lacrosse.

Allison is the daughter of Dale and Jill Zimmerman of East Earl. She has taken several honors and AP courses and has maintained honor roll status since middle school. Allison is participating in the co-op program and is a member of FFA.
