The ninth annual Hope for Haiti Benefit Auction will take place on Saturday, May 21, at the Hertzog Homestead event venue, 470 W. Metzler Road, Ephrata. The auction, hosted by Beiler-Campbell Auction Services, Curvin Horning and other volunteers, will run from 9 a.m. until the last item is sold.

Items on the auction block will include gift cards to local businesses, furniture, antiques, sheds, lawn and garden items, flowers and plants, quilts made by local women and collectibles. All gifts and donations are tax-deductible. The event will also include a large bake sale; children's activities, including barrel train rides; and homemade food for purchase.

All proceeds will go toward Transformation Haiti and Hope Christian Training Library, both located in Montrouis, Haiti.
