During the month of May, the Slate Cafe, 43 Main St., Lititz, will partner with artist Lou Ann Miller of New Holland to support the mission of the World Central Kitchen (WCK) Chefs for Ukraine. All proceeds from the artwork and wall hangings will be donated WCK. The Slate Cafe will also donate to WCK. Small, cross-stitched pins made by Garden Spot Village residents in the colors of the Ukrainian flag will also be sold.

WCK is a nonprofit organization serving hot, nutritious meals to people in need. In addition to delivering food in large Ukrainian cities, WCK is reaching villages north of Kyiv, where no aid had previously been available. At least one kitchen was destroyed by missile attacks.
