Camera Club To Exhibit Photos

The spring art exhibit at Crossings Gallery on the campus of Landis Homes will feature the photographs of eight members of the Lancaster Camera Club. Crossings Gallery is located in the Calvin G. and Janet C. High Learning and Wellness Center at Landis Homes, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz. The exhibit will be on display through June from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays through Sundays.

The photos on display have a wide variety of content, including the natural world, local and travel scenery and still life. The photographers showing work are Jim Goudie, Don Fry, Don Kautz, Lorraine Light, Bob Newell, Jon Rhodes, Dennis Seibert and Robert Willems.

The Lancaster Camera Club was organized in the early '70s by a group of amateur and professional photographers. In addition to the regular meetings, the group offers field trips, photographic events and meetings. Several photographic competitions are held each year; these events are designed to improve the photographic skills of members of all levels and interests.
