Fellin, Murray Named Students Of The Month

Lower Dauphin High School seniors Adam Fellin and Olivia Murray were recently recognized as students of the Month for May by the Rotary Club of Hummelstown.

Adam is the son of Shannon and Daniel Fellin. He is a four-year member and co-captain of the boys' soccer team and also participated in boys' basketball and track and field. He is a four-year member of the Mini-THON organization and was the corporate sponsor outreach captain the past two years. He is a four-year member of the National Math Honor Society, a three-year member and the vice president of the Spanish National Honor Society, a three-year member and the treasurer of the History Honor Society, a three-year member of the Science National Honor Society, and a three-year member of the National Honor Society. Adam is a three-year member and captain of the Quiz Bowl team, a three-year member and the judicial branch leader for Youth and Government, and a two-year member of Volunteen. In the community, he has volunteered at the Hummelstown Area Historical Society and is an intern with Morcom Family Law. He plans to attend the University of Virginia and double-major in statistics and economics.

Olivia is the daughter of Courtney and Peter Murray. She is a four-year member of Mini-THON, serving as student finance director this year. Olivia is a four-year member and the president of Best Buddies and a four-year member and the secretary of Volunteen. She is a two-year member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and Science National Honor Society. She also played lacrosse for two years. In the community, she participates in the Health Career Exploration Program at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She plans to major in chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh.
