Mount Joy Area Historical Society will host guest speaker Dave Reist at its meeting on Monday, July 18. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Cemetery Road Schoolhouse, 120 Fairview St., Mount Joy.

Reist is the former president and current vice president of Reist Popcorn Company in Mount Joy. A third-generation business owner, he will discuss a brief history of Reist Popcorn Company and how the company managed the metamorphosis from seed processing to popcorn processing. He will also discuss the book he is writing about the company.
