Uwchlan Ambulance Corps (UAC) will honor first responders with an event dubbed Heroes and Horsepower. It will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Ludwig's Corner Show Grounds, 70 W. Welsh Pool Road, Exton, to raise awareness and support of vital emergency services. Gates will open at 3 p.m.

The family-friendly event will feature a car show, a beer garden, food vendors, and entertainment. There will also be a designer bag/power tool bingo. Educational demonstrations and information will be available for people of all ages, and UAC will introduce children to emergency services - EMS, fire, and police - through interactive learning stations; there will be a prize for completion.
