Teams are invited to register for the Fall Coed Slow-Pitch Softball League. League play will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays from Sept. 7 through early November. Each team will play a 10-game schedule with playoffs. The registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 26, and there is a team entry fee.

GEARS is also accepting registrations for its Fall 2022 Coed Sixes Volleyball League scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 12, and conclude in early November. Games will be on Mondays between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. at the GEARS Community Center, 70 S. Poplar St., Elizabethtown. The league is a 10-match season with playoffs. Each team's roster must have a minimum of six players and no more than 15 players. Teams must have two females on the court at all times. Teams interested in playing in this league should submit a team roster and registration fee no later than Friday, Sept. 2, to be included in the league schedule.

A trip to Radio City Music Hall to see the "Christmas Spectacular," starring the Radio City Rockettes, will be offered on Saturday, Nov. 19. The bus will depart from the parking lot of Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS), 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown, at 6:30 a.m. Separate fees have been set for members and for nonmembers.

Another trip to New York City is planned for Saturday, Nov. 26. The day will consist of free time to shop, sightsee, meet friends, visit a museum or walk down Fifth Avenue. Motorcoach transportation will depart the EAHS parking lot at 6:30 a.m. and arrive in New York City at approximately 10:30 a.m., with a return time of 11 p.m. Separate fees have been set for members and for nonmembers.
