The Ephrata American Legion Riders from American Legion Cloister Post 429, 300 Cocalico St., Ephrata, will host their third annual Patriots Ride event on Saturday, Aug. 6, at Post 429. The day will start off with motorcycle ride registration at 11 a.m., with kickstands up at noon.

The scenic one-and-a-half-hour ride will include four covered bridges and one stop along the way. Afterward, participants will return to Post 429 for an evening event. The per-person fee for the ride will include a picnic buffet around 3 p.m.

From 4 to 8 p.m., the ballroom doors will open to the public. The event will feature Off Our Rockers, a local classic rock band. The per-person cover charge will include the picnic buffet and concert.
