Speakers Announced For Middle Creek VBS

Middle Creek Church, 351 Middle Creek Road, Lititz, will hold its annual vacation Bible school (VBS) from Sunday to Thursday, July 17 to 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Classes and sessions will be available for people age 3 through adult.

Both the children's curriculum - "Zoomerang," an Answers in Genesis publication - and the adult classes this year will focus on the sanctity of life. For the adult speaker sessions, the church will welcome Ryan and Bethany Bomberger on July 17 through Tuesday, July 19, as well as a representative from Align Life Ministries on Wednesday and Thursday, July 20 and 21.

The Bombergers are the co-founders of The Radiance Foundation, a faith-based, educational nonprofit organization they established in 2009. Through nationwide and global efforts, they seek to demonstrate that every human life has God-given purpose. Their work has received significant mainstream media coverage.

Ryan is the chief creative officer of The Radiance Foundation. He's an international public speaker, columnist, author and more. He was one of 10 children adopted and raised in Lancaster County in a diverse, multi-color Christian family of 15. His parents are Andrea and the late Henry Bomberger, former owners of Bomberger's Store, which is now owned and operated by other relatives.

Bethany taught for over a decade in public and private schools in both suburban and urban settings. She is the executive director of The Radiance Foundation, an international public speaker, a homeschooling mother and the author of a children's book. She and Ryan have four children, two of whom were adopted.

Adults will also hear from Julie Baum of Align Life Ministries, a local nonprofit life-affirming organization. Junior and senior high school students will have separate sessions with Gene Strait, Whitney Kline and Matt Ross as speakers for the week.

There is no charge to participate in the VBS. A freewill offering will be received nightly to support the work of Align Life Ministries.
