Campers Join In Equine Program

Aaron's Acres and Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center (GMTRC) are once again collaborating to serve kids with special needs. Aaron's Acres is a Lancaster-based charitable organization that provides year-round therapeutically based, age-appropriate recreational programs in a supportive environment aimed to enhance socialization and communication skills for 5- to 21-year-olds with disabilities. GMTRC is a Lancaster-based charitable organization with the mission of enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs through equine-assisted activities.

During a recent visit to GMTRC, Aaron's Acres campers took turns riding horses Violet and Neptune, groomed ponies Makeda and Lil' Lacey, and took turns leading Lucy in the indoor arena.

Both organizations are seeking ongoing volunteer and financial support to continue their services to the community. For more information or to donate, visit http://www.aaronsacres.org and http://www.greystonemanortrc.org or find the organizations on social media.
