Lancaster Symphony Orchestra (LSO) announced its 2022-23 concert season. The new LSO music director Michael Butterman will take the podium for his inaugural season.

All performances will take place in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church, 140 E. Orange St., Lancaster. Concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturdays.

The schedule will include the October Masterworks, "New Symphony, New Adventures," on Oct. 14 and 15; December Masterworks, "Messiah," on Dec. 2 and 3; January Masterworks, "Invocation," on Jan. 13 and 14, 2023; March Masterworks, "Ascent & Enigma," on March 10 and 11, 2023; and May Masterworks, "Freedom & Fate," on May 12 and 13.
