North Star Initiative will present "The Truth About Sex Trafficking" on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lancaster Evangelical Free Church (LEFC), 419 Pierson Road, Lititz. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.

Topics will include a definition of sex trafficking, who the traffickers and buyers are, where trafficking happens, what happens when someone is trafficked, signs of trafficking, vulnerable populations, trauma-informed care, and The Harbor home for survivors.

The fee includes all materials for the event as well as lunch and other refreshments. This advocacy training uses the same curriculum each year.
