Gretna Music Sets Concerts

Gretna Music will present Vision Duo on Saturday, Sept. 3, and Horowitz-Bak-Wang Trio on Sunday, Sept. 4. Both performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Mount Gretna Playhouse, 200 Pennsylvania Ave., Mount Gretna.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and there will be a First Listen performance at 6:45 p.m. featuring pianist James Yan on Sept. 3 and percussionist David Graff on Sept. 4. The First Listen program features local talented youths in free mini-concerts before mainstage concerts.

The Horowitz-Bak-Wang Trio will also perform a family show on Sept. 3 at 11 a.m. "What Sounds Better?" explores how music of the past differs from music of today and what music of the future may sound like.

Vision Duo is composed of Ariel Horowitz on the violin and Britton-Rene Collins on the marimba. The Horowitz-Bak-Wang Trio is composed of Horowitz on the violin, Jordan Bak on the viola, and Wynona Wang on the piano.

Both concerts are open seating by section. The premium section is the first 10 rows. Discounted tickets are available to individuals age 18 and under and for adults who bring a young person. Half-price tickets are also available for attendees age 30 and under in premium and standard seating.
