Three Lititz residents are among the 2022 recipients of the Big C Scholarship, which honors former Pequea Valley head coach, Hempfield assistant coach, and Lancaster County Junior Golf Tour (LCJGT) rules official Bill "Big C" Chronister. The Lititz recipients are Brant Bomberger, Tyson Mitchell and Brady Wiggins.

Brant and Tyson are 2022 graduates of Warwick High School. Brant will attend Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y., and continue his golf career with the Clarkson Golden Knights. Tyson will attend Erskine College, Due West, S.C., and play golf for the Erskine Flying Fleet. Brady is a 2022 graduate of Lancaster County Christian School, and he plans to attend Lancaster Bible College (LBC), where he will play golf for the LBC Chargers.

The Big C Scholarship funds come from the LCJGT and the Lancaster County Golf Association. Each recipient is given $1,000 to be applied to his or her collegiate pursuits. The scholarships were presented at the Lancaster Country Club on July 29.
