Library Sets Book Sale

Manheim Township Public Library will hold its 14th annual book sale from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, and Wednesday, Sept. 14, as well as from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, which will be half-price day.

The three-day event will be held at the Overlook Activities Center, 301 Golf Drive, Lancaster, inside the roller skating rink. Hosted by the Friends of Manheim Township Public Library and sponsored by Barley Snyder, the book sale is one of the library's major fundraiser events, with proceeds from the sale being used for library materials, programs, and equipment.

The sale will feature a wide assortment of books, CDs, and DVDs. Separate costs have been set for hardcover books, paperback books, children's hardcover books, children's paperback books, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles.

Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted, with a set minimum purchase amount for credit cards.

Book and media donations will not be accepted at the book sale, but rather at the Manheim Township Public Library on Tuesdays and Fridays between 9 and 11 a.m.

Sept. 14 will be Children's Day at the book sale. Story time will be held at 9 a.m., with registration required at http://www.mtpl.info. Children will be able to receive one free paperback book all day.
