A Pond Twilight Walk will occur on Tuesday, Sept. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m., in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County. Pond owners and managers are invited to attend.

Participants will learn basic pond plant identification, how to conduct basic pond water quality tests, how land uses and runoff can affect ponds, and basic pond ecology. Instructors will set aside time for discussion.

Space is limited, so preregistration is required by Monday, Sept. 19. The registration fee includes a copy of the publication "Management of Fish Ponds in Pennsylvania."
