Audubon Society Plans Program

Quittapahilla Audubon Society (QAS) will resume its monthly programs in a new location. The organization will now meet at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, near Monument Park. A well-lit, spacious parking lot is located behind the church along Spruce Street, and attendees are asked to enter the church from the parking lot entrance.

Fred Habegger will offer a program titled "Morning Has Broken" on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. In a presentation that is suitable for people of all ages, Habegger will share time-lapse videos and clips create in the mornings near his home. The videos are mostly country scenes and animal sightings along waterways. Habegger used to be involved in the photography industry but now enjoys spending quiet time along the Hammer Creek and in his backyard, and he has presented several programs to QAS in recent years.

QAS offers programs and field trips to the public at no charge and with no registration required. For more information and any updates, visit http://www.qasaudubon.org.
