The Trashion Fashion Avant Garb Show is looking for creators to enter the event, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Switchboard Gallery, on the second floor of 40 N. Third St., Columbia.

All costumes must be made from recycled, reused or repurposed items. As the name implies, the emphasis is on recycling materials that might ordinarily be thrown out once they have served their intended purpose. Creators may model the outfit or they may have a model, but the creator must be present for the show.

Each entry will be judged in one of three categories: children age 10 and under, youths ages 11 to 17 or adults age 18 and over. A complete list of rules and an entry form may be found at https://tinyurl.com/22ce6d2p. There is no entry fee.
