Hershey Area Neighbors and Newcomers Club (HANNC) will meet at the Hershey Public Library, 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey, at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13.

Guest speaker Kathy Gingrich, a member of the Garden Club of York, will present "Seeing the Invisible: What Birds, Bees, and Butterflies Really See." Gingrich was the 1996 National Geographic Alliance Secondary Teacher of the Year.

HANNC meets the second Thursday of the month from September to May. Guests are invited to attend.
