The Hummelstown Area Historical Society will hold a meeting on Monday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Parish House, located at the corner of Rosanna Street and North Alley in Hummelstown.

Diane Schreffler will display 1940s color pictures of movie stars of that era. She will speak about the stars' personal lives, their beginnings in the entertainment business, the start of movie studios, and the movies that were made over the years.
