United Zion Posts Open House

United Zion Retirement Community, 722 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz, will hold an open house on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of Explore Retirement Living. The open house is returning after a two-year hiatus. No preregistration is needed, but masks are required.

All levels of living will be open, including residential living apartments and cottages, personal care, skilled short-term rehabilitation, and long-term skilled nursing care. Culinary team members will provide light refreshments. Team members and residents will be available to answer questions about living at United Zion. The retirement community will announce some news at the event.

Those who live in a cottage or apartment at United Zion have access to maintenance staff, housekeeping, and wellness, social, and educational activities on campus. Each residence is within an easy walk of campus amenities, including the community room, the wellness center, the chapel, dining options, the salon, and the library. As a Life Plan community, United Zion supports residents as they age by providing Heritage Hills Personal Care and Firestone Healthcare Center for long-term care and short-term rehab.

Explore Retirement Living is organized by 17 nonprofit continuing care retirement communities in Lancaster County. This is the 10th time the communities will open their doors for the Explore Retirement Living open house.

Established in 1905, the nonprofit United Zion Retirement Community has a faith-inspired mission to provide superior quality services to the aging, based on Christian principles, in a loving and caring community encouraging independence, promoting wellness, and preserving human dignity.
