The Manheim Lions Club honored the Manheim Lions 14U baseball team, which the club sponsors, on Sept. 19 at a banquet held at The Shack Restaurant in Manheim. The team won the Junior Midget New Era/LNP championship for the eighth time.

The following players received awards: Carter Kyle, Leadership and Coaches' Award; Zach Hunt, Best Improved Award; Cody Hess, Heart and Hustle Award; Logan Geib, 47th Dick Weidman Award; and Collin Connelly, 47th Dick Weidman Award.
