Mount Joy Rotary Honors Brubaker, Carroll

The Donegal High School Counseling Office and Career Resource Center has announced that Sydney Brubaker and Ryley Carroll are the Mount Joy Rotary Students of the Month for September. Students of the Month are honored by members of the Mount Joy Rotary during the club's monthly luncheon meeting.

Sydney, daughter of Brent and Kathy Brubaker of Mount Joy, is the Booster Club president, a Link Crew leader and a member of National Honor Society. She is a part of the track and field team and has been on the field hockey team. Outside school, Sydney is a member of the youth groups at Mount Joy Mennonite Church and Community Bible Church. She volunteers with a children's ministry and is also vice president of the 4-H Community Club. After graduation, she plans to attend college to major in nursing.

Ryley, son of Bob and Beth Carroll of Marietta, has been chosen as a class officer all four years of high school. He is a member of National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Student Council, the ski club, the track and field team and the cross-country team. He plans to attend college to study accounting or finance, with the goal of becoming a financial planner.
