Moove In Self Storage has announced the acquisition of JLM Storage on Chambers Road in York. The property has a net 21,050 square feet of rentable space, which comprises three traditional drive-up storage buildings, totaling 183 units sitting on 2.3 acres. The facility will now be called Moove In Chambers Road.

An eight-bay car wash component comes as part of the acquisition. Once all governmental approvals are obtained, Moove In will demolish the existing car wash structure in order to construct a three-story building. The building will add 48,600 gross square feet of temperature-controlled storage as well as an on-site office. Construction is expected to begin in 2023, with lease-up to follow in 2024.
