The Central Pennsylvania Vietnam Round Table will meet on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Vietnam Veterans of America, Michael J. Novosel MOH Chapter 542, 8000 Derry St., Harrisburg, at 7:30 p.m.

Following a brief business meeting, Richard Burton from West Hanover Township, Dauphin County, will discuss his Vietnam experiences as a psychological operations officer attached to the 1st Marine Division, near Danang in I Corps. Burton graduated from Furman University, Greenville, S.C., in 1968 as an ROTC infantry officer. In November 1968, he entered the Army, where he completed infantry school, airborne school and Special Forces school. He was assigned to the 3rd Special Forces Group as a civil affairs officer. He was in Vietnam from November 1969 to November 1970. Burton is active with Vietnam Veterans of America, the Central Pennsylvania Vietnam Round Table, the Hershey Civil War Round Table and the West Hanover Township Senior Van Program.
