Veterans Day Program Set In Wrightsville

Historic Wrightsville's annual Veterans Day program will be held on the porch and grounds of the Wrightsville museum, 309 Locust St., at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6. All branches of the military will be recognized, the Tag-a-Flag for a Veteran display will be revealed, and a special guest will speak on the topic of honor. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.

Community members are reminded that the Tree of Remembrance names are due on Nov. 6 as well. The tree will be on display at Constitution Square on the evening of Wrightsville's Community Holiday Program on Sunday, Nov. 27, and will then be moved to the front porch of the museum for the remainder of the holiday season.
