Brooke Spezialetti, a graduate student at Alvernia University, Reading, was named to the 2022 NFHCA Senior Team, as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Oct. 24. The selected student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coach and were chosen based on career accomplishments.

A five-year member of Alvernia's field hockey team, Spezialetti has started in every Alvernia game since she joined the team as a first-year in 2018. To date, she has recorded eight goals and 10 assists.

Spezialetti was a 2022 Academic All-MAC selection, a 2022 All-Region selection, and the 2022 MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year. She also earned All-MAC Commonwealth honors in 2019 and is a four-time NFHCA National Academic Squad selection.

Spezialetti is a native of Millersville. She is pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy.
