For the third quarter in 2022, First Capital Federal Credit Union (FCU) donated $1,050 to Autism York.

The money was raised through various fundraisers throughout the company's branches, including jeans days and soft pretzel sales. Autism York offers opportunities for families and individuals on the autism spectrum to learn, grow and develop relationships that may help to guide them through life's journey.

First Capital's CEO, Sue DeStephano, along with community and business development manager Lisa Barshinger, presented the donation to Julie Rasmuson, president of Autism York.

In addition to the $1,050 donation raised during the third quarter, First Capital FCU was a $1,000 Platinum Sponsor for the Autism Walk and Expo, which was held on April 2 at PeoplesBank Park.

Every quarter, a different organization is selected as the company's FirstCap Gives Back partner. For the fourth quarter, First Capital FCU will raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.
