The renaming of a local interchange to honor Michael L. Henry Jr. has been incorporated into House Bill 2637, which passed the House and Senate before being sent to the governor's desk.

Rep. Tom Mehaffie sought the commemorative naming in remembrance of the 22-year Derry Township Police Department patrol officer, who died of injuries sustained during motorcycle training in October 2019. Located on the border of Hummelstown Borough and Derry Township in Dauphin County, the interchange connects U.S. Route 322 and state Route 2005.
